Okay, this is it. We have reached indie-DEFCON 3.

If you've never gotten behind anything I've posted on this blog then now is the time. The song I have linked below is wtf-awesome. And then I went to Miles Benjamin Anthony's myspace page and listened to the song "The Debtor" and immediately tears were in my eyes. The last time that happened I was driving home from Oceanside/San Diego after visiting Jenn for the July 4th weekend. I had popped in the copy of TV on the Radio's Return to Cookie Mountain which I had just bought that day at a cool little record shop near the beach. That was July of 2006. It's been almost two years since I have been so immediately drawn to a song as I am to this.

I was initially going to wait until Monday to post this, but I am just way too excited about this guy. Apparently he's a 24-year old kid who's been living in Brooklyn for a while -- just hanging out playing shows. He recorded an album with Chris Taylor and Chris Bear of Grizzly Bear in 2006 (which includes guest appearances by Kyp Malone from TV on the Radio, no less). I guess the albums been on the shelf for a while because its not slated to be released until July 1st. Listen to the song I linked below and then immediately go to the aforementioned myspace page and listen to "The Debtor". I have a feeling this guy is going to blow up.

Edit: In fact, this guy is a little too good. I'm starting to think this might just be an April Fools Day joke or something. His back-story is a little too perfect... Hmmmm

Just gave it a listen. This guy is pretty awesome. Props on suggesting it's an upcoming April Fools gag, really builds up the myth. I couldn't find him on Say Hey Records site, so maybe there's something to that. But I did like the White Rabbits.

I am very grateful to learn others posting more about this band. Too many great artists just don't know how to endure.

fadeawaynever.com is great! There are lots of other options that might be present all around us sometimes in the form of instant payday loans otherwise in the form of online loans The nearest internet cafe or the closest access to internet is all that is necessary for online payday loans

I was looking for some topic related internet sites and I found your site through Google. I like the articles and will add this link to my database.
