How the change affects your account
On your next account refresh Jun 18, 2010, your plan will change to the neweMusic Plus Annual plan which costs $171.99 for the year and gives you 35 downloads every 30 days.
We're sorry that we've had to retire your current plan, but we're confident that you'll find even more music to love among the many new additions to the music catalog. And of course, you can always choose a different plan by visiting the Plan Options page within Your Account .
Here's the rip-off breakdown:
Currently EMusic charges $191.90 /year for 75 song downloads a month. The new and "improved" price is $171.99 /year for 35 song downloads a month. It used to be 21 cents per song and will soon average out to 41 cents per song.
